1.Apply cold compress as frequently as possible for the first 3 days.
2.Apply a thin layer of ointment to the wound, morning and evening.
3.Take all antibiotics as prescribed. Take painkillers only when in pain.
4.There may be slight bleeding from the wound during the first 24 hours.Gently dab and press with a cotton swab, gauze, or tissue—it usually stops on its own.
5.You may wash your face, shower, and shampoo as usual.
6.The nasal splint can be removed after 3 days.You may wash your face and clean around the nose as normal.
7..Eat normally—everything except alcohol.
8.Sleep with a regular pillow. Side sleeping is allowed.
9.Do not wear glasses.
