1.If the wound is covered with waterproof plaster, you may shower right away.No need for wound care until the scheduled stitch removal.
2.If the wound is covered with gauze, avoid water.After 48 hours, the wound may get wet.
3.If the wound is left open after 48 hours,apply a thin layer of ointment morning and evening—no need to cover it.
4.Take all prescribed antibiotics. Take painkillers only if in pain.
5.Eat normally—everything except alcohol.
