Postoperative Care

1.Keep the wound covered for 1 night. You may remove it the next morning.

2.Apply cold compress as much as possible for the first 3 days.

3.Apply a thin layer of ointment to the wound, morning and evening.

4.You may wash your face, shower, and shampoo normally.Be careful of the wound. After 48 hours, it can get wet.

5.Take all prescribed antibiotics. Take painkillers only if in pain.

6.Eat normally. No restrictions, except alcohol.

7.Sleep with a regular pillow. Side sleeping is allowed—just avoid pressing on the wound.

Possible Complications

Slight bleeding may occur within the first 24 hours, especially in people with high blood pressure.Use clean gauze to press gently—bleeding usually stops on its own.
